The pad offers extra cushioning on the back of your horse and a saddle pad has the function to absorb the sweat of your horse. The sweat of your horse can affect the leather of your saddle and you do not want that.

Saddle pads come in all shapes and sizes. The standard sizes are: Shetland, Pony, Cob and Full . Within these standard sizes you also have sub-sizes. The following abbreviations are used here:

DR: Dressage
VZH: Versatility
SP: Spring

We, at Livin Horse Shop, do recommend that you wash the saddle pad regularly. The reason for this is that your horse's sweat is absorbed into the saddle pad and this dried sweat can cause a lot of chafing. You want to prevent this.
